I got myself my first ever naked palette the otherday! It was naughty of me and even as I was handing over my card to pay I was wondering why! But life is too short and sometimes you just need a treat! I got my naked 2 from debenhams. You can order it here.

I firstly have to apologise for not posting anything the last few days. If you have followed my blog for a while you may know I am prone to eye problems. It just so happened I got some cat fur in my eye and even while my mom has three cats and we have always had pet cats I am slightly allergic to them. So getting fur in my eye was not the best thing for it! Anyway onto a review as that's what your all here for!
This believe it or not is my first lush bath bomb. I took a little video on instagram of it fizzing away. Now not ever having a lush bath bomb before I had no idea what to expect. I loved to watch it disappear but was actually gutted there were no bubbles! However it is a butter ball and I should not have expected that really! What you do get is a lovely vanilla scented oil in the bath. The scent of this is the main reason I got this bath bomb even in the overpowering scent of the small shop I was in this smelt amazing. In happy to say it doesn't smell like an artificial smell it smells all natural and extremely yummy!
I loved relaxing in the bath and having a soak. I was worried that the oil in the bath would soak into my hair and make it greasy, which has happened to me with other bath oil products. I am happy to report that didn't happen so two thumbs up for lush there.
I also liked how supple and soft my skin felt in the bath it made light exfoliating easier and my skin felt super soft after the bath. I had no irritation to my sensitive skin my eczema did itch a little a few minutes after my bath however I will say it was actually nice for my legs to feel soft.
I have to say for my first lush bath experience I am a very happy girl.
I do have to mention because of the oil my bath tub was very slippery even with a rubber mat to stop of slipping! But it is just something to be careful about and is not really a bad point about the butter ball!
At £2.50 its not the cheapest bath experience ever but it is one of the nicer ones and will definitely be picked up next time I am in lush.
What's your favorite lush bath bomb?

A CV is basically a piece of paper that sells you to a company! It is the first thing a company sees about you and the first insight they have into who you are as a person. It is a good idea to get other people to read your CV to see if it sells who you are an applies to the job you want. I am a huge believer in tailoring you CV to match the job you are applying for.
Setting up a CV there are basic requirements for a CV, you contact details are a must, as are previous employment and qualifications/education.You can also include hobbies, skills and any other relevant information, it is also important to note somewhere that references are available but not they are not necessary in the application stage.
I always start with my personal details, so name, date of birth, and contact details (telephone number and email). I then go for qualifications GCSE's A levels any degrees or other qualifications you may have. The older you are the less important these are so you can just say however many GCSE's you got between whatever grades you got for me that would be 12 GCSE's between B-D. I still put in all my individual qualifications because my employment record is not brilliant yet!
Then go with your work experience, for years I have put my first job first and then go from there, however after doing some research online Kent University has found that it is better to put your current/most recent job and then work backwards. It is also important to talk about the skills it gave you not the actual job requirements so talk about providing quality service or working in teams, any skill you have learnt. Try and say how you have developed in you job or have helped plan and organise anything that sells your skills. It isn't about the job you do whether that be working in shops like me or if you do basic office work, its all about your skills and what you can offer a new company!
You can include interests, achievements and skills however I find it would be easier to bullet point or keep these sections rather short they are not the most important. Avoid things like socialising with friends or any hobbies that are completed by yourself unless you back them with reasons. Thinks I would mention are anything that is out of the ordinary (eg my blog, and how it connects me to people around the world) any sports you do (mine would be badminton and ultimate Frisbee) any interests relevant to the job. Just try not to make yourself like a loner and a recluse in this bit and have something interesting! Here you could also include computer skills (knowledge of whatever operating systems you use) whether you know any languages, and even if you drive is good to put in here, some jobs require you to drive.
Finally references. Like I said earlier it is not important to put them in but its a good idea to have some people in mind who can act as a reference for you.
Now I have some more little tips for you to consider while writing your CV
- Check for spelling mistakes and never write a CV in text or slang these are usually thrown straight away. I used to sort CV's at one of my jobs and anything that wasn't spell checked, had obvious mistakes or was written in text went straight in the bin!
- Inappropriate email - no one wants to email someone when it looks something like 'firstname.lastname@example.org' or even worse Ive seen emails where they refer to being sex god's! Keep it generic and simple make a new one specifically for your CV
- Don't have a really long CV 1 page is best but don't go over 2 pages - it only takes someone reading about 45 seconds to decide if they are going to put your CV in yes no or maybe pile!
- Making it easy to read, I always imagine the person reading it is stressed at work, its the last shift of the week, they would rather be at home, so I try to keep it as easy, full of information but not full of unnecessary text. If I would get bored after 30seconds it needs to be changed!
- Try to elaborate of skills, eg travel. That's great but it could sound like you like to be alone or even just a generic answer so something like, Travel - last year I travelled Europe with friends visiting famous monuments, makes it sound more interesting!

Basically I use night time pads as I need the confidence in the pads and it just leaves me feeling a little bit safer! I then found these from always. These are Always Infinity and are available here.
These are so comfortable that you barely even notice you are wearing them! They mold to your body and sit so perfectly well, I have no worries of leaking or of the pad changing position. The wings are great too they stay in place and help prevent leaking.
This review is kind of personal for me finally finding something that works during that moment of a month where nothing feels right I love these pads. They give me confidence and I know I will be safe wearing them. They are comfortable and just make that time of month easier. These and copious amounts of chocolate! Anything to make the time easier I will love, and while they are a little bit more exspensive then regular pads it is worth it for the peace of mind for me! If you can pick these up I seriously suggest you try them!
How do you cope during that time of the month?

I love its satin semi-matte finish. It also goes on amazingly well. For some reason I avoided buying models own nail polish for so long because I just figured they were expensive and wouldn't be much better. These are so much better then I ever figured they would be! They go on so smoothly and the colour pay off is great two coats and its perfect you could even get away with one really thick coat. The brush covers the nail well and the lid is easy to hold while painting the nails even if it is bigger then what I'm used to.
available here. I loved the silver and blue mix of glitter, I thought it would be perfect to go with this purple shade.
Whats your favourite nail colour?

I have changed my blog name, and domain and I have even gone full force and changed my google+ and youtube!
I want to carry on with my blog but it is about time it progressed with me, instead of staying what it was 2 or so years ago. I never really put alot of thought into my original blog name 'little pretty things' and people kept getting the words mixed up and it was already associated with other blogs, people would mistakenly call it pretty little things which is a different blog to mine and also a clothes shop, there is also another blog called little pretty things and a little shop that sells chocolate! It just made everything too confusing!
This name is alot more me! At first I wanted to keep my blog anonymous when I didnt want everyone I knew finding out about this blog but now I am not so fussed. I also want to blog about other things then beauty, I want to blog about my life, and the crafts I am into maybe even doing a few updates and reviews on books and films. Who knows what I will end up writing about, but I just new that my blog needed to change with me, especially as the last year my life has changed a lot. I have my family around me more and I live in my own place and I wanted my blog to reflect that, and not still remind me of living in a tiny box room at home!!
I hope you like the changes and enjoy seeing my blog grow with me.

Juliet is a lovely red lip stain. I love a good red lip and whenever I try new stains or glosses I do gravitate to red shades now! Theres just something I love about a nice red lip!
It is a beautiful red colour.I love how bright and vibrant it is, and also how glossy it is on first application even though it is a stain.
You can buy these at boots, for £7.99 and I have to say this colour is really worth the price tag. Although lolita not so much. So my betting on these are the stronger colours are a big yes the more nude colours you can do without!
Have you tried the L'oreal Glam Shine Lip Stains? Which one is your favorite?

I always always set myself unrealistic resolutions. So heres to set myself some more!
1. Exercise more.
Im going to be buying a dance hoop next year and teach my self to hoola hoop. I need my exercise to be fun as Im not playing sports anymore.
2. Blog more.
I will try my hardest to blog everyday. I make no promises Im pretty rubbish at sticking to a blogging schedule.
3. Continue to learn crotchet and knitting patterns.
Right now Im working on a cushion and I really want to finish it and make new things!
4. Spend more quality time with Pawl.
With our different work shifts we might not see each other for days but I want us to get close again. We have a week off together next week and I intend to make the most of it. I also think we will have a weekly film night.
So theres my resolutions. What are some of yours?

As it happens I am sat at work right now taking a break! Roll on 9.30.
Work is a big part of my life and I believe in hard work and doing your best no matter what the job is. I know there are co-workers that can make your job just that much harder.
I figured I would share my tips for coping with them!
1. The big mouth moan about everything type.
We all know the one 'the company is shit' 'my life is so hard'. All I can say about these people is tune them out as much as you can! Have you noticed how they moan about everything but dont do anything to change the situation. They are still there after years of moaning. The best thing to do is pay no attention. The reason they moan is for attention otherwise they would change the situation! One day they will moan to the wrong person and it will get them in trouble.
2. The newbie that thinks they know everything (and is cocky about it!) type.
I worked with one of these types for such a long time! The I run the shop and I know what Im doing talk. Who is blowing their own trumpet for no reason at all! The one I worked with used to brag about being a manager of a sofa place. What he didnt like to say is, it was for 2 days because the company was bankrupt and there were no actual managers to close the shop. So with these if it doesnt affect your work I offer them no help. If you are so good do it yourself! I quite (even if its a little bit wrong) like to see these people get things wrong. It brings them down a peg or two and makes them easier to work with!
3. The busy body suck up type.
The ones that will do anything to be in managements good books. They probably even got that promotion/perk because they sucked up to someone. Stay away from these people they have a long way to fall. You might be tempted to befriend them to see how far it gets you. Do not do it. Hard work is more rewarding and will be recognised better then any favor or association.
4. The lazy but still manages to keep their job type.
Again stay away from these. Any bad habbits they have can rub off on you or worse you can be blamed for making them slack off. No one likes this kind because if you work hard but then have an off day everyone notices. And yet these guys swan about doing nothing. These people seriously peeve me right off!
In all seriousness I love working with the majority of people. I make friends with them all even if I distance myself from bad behaviours. What kind of workers irritate you?
